The Needle Rock View point is one of the main attraction of Gudalur especially for those who come to ooty through Nadugani Churam, Because the View point is located in main route of Gudalur – Ooty. People who come from far to Ooty, this place is a good option as a refreshing and relaxing spot. I Visited this place on 12 May 2024. on that date, there was a Entry Fee of Rs:20/- . You can see Gudalur city and the Beautiful mountains from the view point . Also there is a small government tea shop there, near the entry pass counter. You can enjoy the delicious Nilgiris tea from there. The Tall Pine trees are another attraction of this place.
