On 31st July 2023, my friend Suhail and I visited Malampuzha Dam and Garden. Malampuzha Dam and Garden are located in the same place, so only one entry pass is needed to visit both Malampuzha Dam and Garden. As of the date, July 31, 2023, the entry pass cost for an adult is Rs. 30/-. Malampuzha Dam was built by the Madras State before Kerala became a separate state. The dam was inaugurated by K. Kamaraj in 1956 when he was the Chief Minister of Madras state. The Malampuzha Garden was designed by the famous architect Padma Shree Nek Chand Saini. Additionally, the Malampuzha Yakshi Statue by Kaanaayi Kunjiraman is another significant attraction of Malampuzha Garden.
