I Seen the Bambusa bambos The Wild and Common Bamboo Tree in India and Sri Lanka

During my Wayanad (Kerala) trip, I visited the Banasura Sagar Dam, one of the famous dams in Wayanad. There, I saw this large Bambusa Bambos bamboo tree. In fact, I’ve seen this bamboo species many times before, and even the same type of bamboo trees are common in my village. But now, I’m wondering why I noticed it here in Wayanad. Before answering that question, have you ever wondered why we notice familiar people in strange places or in places far from our village or hometown? I think the answer is the same for me: curiosity. Finding something familiar in a strange place.

Bambusa Bambos is a very tall and wild bamboo species. It forms dense, vertical clusters in its surroundings. This tree can grow up to 30 meters tall. Normally, it is found in flat, open areas and near water bodies.
