Herennia multipuncta Commonly known as ornamental tree trunk spider Found in Wayanad

I Seen this beautiful Spider in Banasura Sagar Dam, Wayanad. You know why i noticed this creature ? because i seen this on a tree which situated in the middle of a dam ., in water. I wondered how this Herennia multipuncta Spider survives there, what a lonely life., See the image of that tree which i marked the spider in it

Herennia multipuncta Spider is very calm and beatiful spider. i went very close to it, to take photographs , but this spider not afraid of humans. As a Keralite, im seeing this spider first time in my life, i took many photos of it. im giving it below .
