Artocarpus hirsutus is Big tree from the Moraceae Family (Mulberry family). You can find wild jack tree in Western Ghats of India. its wood is good for Wood products especially for Door frames and window frames .
I found Wild jack timber logs in a saw mill in kerala, India . the wood price depends on its perimeter , if the wood has high perimeter it means it more aged and more strength also high resistant to termites. So if you wish to purchase wild jack wood, only choose high Woods with high perimeter. the best practice is directly
go to saw mill with a carpenter and choose the wood, other wise you might be cheated by giving less aged woods . Kindly note that , the images i given below is not matured wood logs. its low perimeter less aged Wild Jack wood logs.
